Well, I'm intrigued.

Incidentally, this item was brought to my attention by John Shirley, whose excellent novel "Crawlers" hinges on the crash of a research satellite bearing malevolent nanobots. Seek it out if you're in the mood for a literary science fiction/horror hybrid.

Yes, quite interesting, for a variety of reasons.

Caveat emptor--the above url is a link to earthfiles.com, Linda Moulton-Howe's website. My best guess? Hypersonic test prototype overshooting Area 51. Maybe.

Compare and contrast to the KLAS-TV report by Knapp. Mysterious helicopters, JANET flights, MIB's, strange USG vehicle convoys; this story has it all. It's rather odd this has only been reported in the last week or so, when the incident happened May 14th.
