On a completely shallow note... every time I see the pic used on this post, I get the urge to get out my tweezers, and pluck all those stray hairs.
Sorry...it's late, and I'm tired. :oP
On an even shallower note, every time I see that pic, I get the urge to remove that black full-eye contact lense.
Sorry...it's even later and I have a bad cold. 8^}
UFO's, real or otherwise, are completely immeshed in the history of post-war American culture. I've often wondered by someone like Thomas Pynchon never picked up on the UFO mythos as a prism through which to write a grand quasi-historical novel about the second half of the twenieth century. There's great poential there - the alleged incident involving Jackie Gleason, Richard Nixon, and alien bodies would be worth the price of admission alone. Anyway, for the moment, sf and ufology will probably remain separate, out of a mutual desire for greater credibility in both camps.
trivia question.... who is the eye of this alien??
